Avignon and Wine-Sep 13-16
About 15 years ago I was invited to an afternoon cocktail party at Nicole 'Poppy' Salinger's Paris apartment and over the years I had visited La Bastide Rose, 'toured' with Poppy, the museum she created to remember her husband Pierre Salinger. and sampled her son Emmanuel's cooking.
We will visit the antiques market at Isle sur le Sorgue, the vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape, Gignondas , Vacqueyeras, Le Palais des Papes in Avignon and every evening we will enjoy Emmanuel's provencal cuisine accompanied by wines from his personal cellar.
